Dr. Carrie Lambert was born in Seattle, Washington and spent most of her childhood growing up in the southern part of that state.  She realized after a few years of collecting pets for her parents that veterinary school was in her future.

Dr. Lambert did her undergraduate studies at the University of Washington, but after early acceptance, went to veterinary school at Washington State University.  She graduated from the Washington State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998.

Dr. Lambert is enjoying a rewarding career as a full time associate and is extremely excited to have joined Mount Rose Animal Hospital.  She is thrilled to be part of a practice who values excellent quality medicine and the human animal bond.

Dr. Lambert and her husband Scott enjoy cycling, backpacking, hiking and traveling.  Their most recent adventures include a mountain bike trip through Thailand and a backpack trip through South America.  Her family also includes their five children: Ellie Mae and Bernie Sue (the two dogs), as well as Marvin, Wilson, and Tommy (the three cats).
