Dr. Shelby Baker has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 6 years in Reno since her graduation from veterinary school in May of 2000.  She acquired her training and skills from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia.  It was there, through her experiences and education that helped to mold Dr. Baker’s core philosophy:  That the key to providing excellent veterinary service is to start with the whole-hearted commitment of a loyal and long-term client-veterinary-patient relationship.

Dr. Katie Weldon, VMD has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 11 years in the Reno-Sparks area since receiving her degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in May of 1995.  Dr. Weldon has worked on many different animals both large and small, domestic and exotic.  She has even performed dentistry on a tiger who had an appetite for car tires! 

Dr. Weldon enjoys general medicine and takes great pleasure in watching a young puppy or kitten grown up to be a healthy dog or cat.  Ferrets and rabbits have proven to be a fun specialty for her, while orthopedic surgery remains one of her greatest interests.
